The Numerical Reasoning test assesses candidates' ability to understand and reason about numerical information.
It's an ideal test for pre-employment screening. A good candidate for an office-based job should have a high level of numerical ability, and be able to apply this ability to quickly read numerical information (numbers, tables, and charts), understand them, and take action on them.
This test requires candidates to demonstrate an understanding of numerical information presented in the forms of text, tables, and charts as well as forming relations between them to solve a problem.

The charts below show the number of cars John sold last year and the profit per car he made.

John has a bag of apples, and two brothers, Jack and Jim.
The image below shows the number of apples that John has eaten and put in the family's compost barrel.
John then splits the remainder equally between himself and each one of his brothers. Jack and Jim both eat half the apples they have been given. Together the three brothers have 4 apples left.
